Synopsis: A bold and lyrical portrait of Frédéric Chopin, this biographical drama reimagines the composer as a vibrant, charismatic force in 1830s Paris. At just 25, Chopin dazzles aristocrats and royalty, performing in salons, teaching to stay afloat, and composing timeless works—all while concealing a worsening illness with charm and wit.
The film unfolds in vivid, interwoven scenes that reveal Chopin as a “rockstar of his time,” driven by passion, spontaneity, and creative fire. His relationships with strong women—including George Sand and Maria Wodzińska—shape both his emotional world and musical genius. Eryk Kulm leads a stellar cast in this sweeping exploration of desire, decline, and artistic legacy.
The music for Chopin, Chopin! was overseen by renowned Polish pianist Janusz Olejniczak. Olejniczak guided lead actor Eryk Kulm in preparing and performing Chopin’s compositions for the film. While the score itself is built around Chopin’s original works, Olejniczak’s involvement ensured authenticity and emotional depth in the musical interpretation.
This collaboration adds a layer of realism to the film, as Kulm spent months learning to play Chopin’s pieces, bringing the composer’s artistry to life on screen.

Synopsis: “Wielka Warszawska” (The Great Warsaw Race) premiered in Polish cinemas on January 23, 2026. It serves as the long-awaited final chapter of an informal “shady games” trilogy written by Jan Purzyczyk – following the cult classics “Wielki Szu” (Big Shoot, 1985) and “Piłkarski poker” (Soccer Poker, 1989).
The story follows a young, talented jockey named Krzysiek, who dreams of winning Poland’s most prestigious horse race – Wielka Warszawska (The Great Warsaw Race), held at Służewiec Racecourse. Full of passion and idealism, he enters the closed world of horse racing as a complete novice. Very quickly he discovers that this beautiful sport is controlled by a dense network of arrangements, corruption, big money, and mafia influence. The early 1990s – the chaotic time of Poland’s transformation after the fall of communism – only amplify the temptations: fast career, easy cash, and power.
Krzysiek faces a classic moral dilemma: stay true to his pure love of racing or give in to the system that can make him a star overnight – but at the price of his integrity.

Synopsis: Domalewski’s The Altar Boys is one of the most refreshing and emotionally charged Polish films of recent years – it manages to blend sharp social commentary, genuine warmth, youthful rebellion and surprisingly mature moral questions — all without falling into preachiness or cheap cynicism.
A group of teenage altar boys from a typical Polish suburb grow increasingly frustrated with the hypocrisy and indifference in the adult world. Led by the idealistic Filip, they decide to take matters into their own hands. Listening in on confessions, wearing Zorro-style masks, they start punishing “sinners” and helping those in need — a DIY mix of Robin Hood and vigilante justice. What begins as a half-innocent, half-naughty crusade quickly spirals into situations that force the boys to confront very adult questions: Where is the line between good intentions and harm? Can children really “fix” the world of grown-ups? And what happens when your black-and-white moral code meets real-life shades of gray?

Synopsis: I Want More is based on true events on one of the largest cyber frauds in Polish history. Marcin, a seemingly confident young man who hides deep insecurity beneath his leader persona becomes torn between a carefree life of gaming with friends and the harsh realities of impending adulthood – an alcoholic father, a similarly troubled mother, and a younger sister scared to be at home. The tipping point comes when Marcin’s girlfriend Hania’s father needs expensive, life-saving treatment. Desperate and seeing no legal way out—Marcin devises a high-risk plan. He pulls his close friends into the ruthless world of cybercrime, using the infamous “impersonator method”. What starts as a targeted, one-off desperation move explodes far beyond their control. The scheme scales rapidly, generating enormous sums that dwarf their initial goal. Adrenaline, a false sense of power, and the intoxicating rush of easy money turn Marcin from a reluctant participant into someone addicted to the lifestyle. Greed overtakes necessity; loyalty frays; love is tested to breaking point. The once-tight group dynamic unravels amid paranoia, betrayal, and the looming threat of consequences.
